Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 from February 27, 2010 to Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is an unassuming community which is situated in the West Island, which is an island in Montreal. This West Island, to those who have never heard of it, is a huge area that extends from Lachine until the west. Amanda Brugel is said to be born on the West Island. This does not exist. Brugel was raised in Courtice close to Oshawa. She wanted to become an elite dancer, however due to an explosive increase in her height, she surpassed all of her dance colleagues. In an article published by Toronto Star, she revealed that she was at 6'1 inches tall. Once I had outgrown my male counterparts I stopped. Former dancers often turn to acting, and Brugel was no exception. The drama instructor in her high school was able to push Brugel in her direction that she required. It was her teacher who encouraged her to try out to play the character of Anne in the school's annual production. She tried out and ended up playing the character of Anne of Green Gables. The show led her to receive an Fine Arts Talent Scholarship at York University where she attended the Theatre Program and earned an Associate of Fine Arts degree in the year 2000. Since then, Brugel has been performing in over 60 shows on large screens as well as smaller ones. She gained the most notoriety when she got her part as Rita for the show that won awards. series The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel was the sole Canadian actor on the show in Season 1 and was only seen occasionally.
